“ A relaxed family-owned Cafe with delicious food just like Mom's. Especially happy that they are open on Sundays. We are going to make that our Sunday place. Even better, there are several stores open on the square to browse through after breakfast! ”
“ Stopped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday. The food was fresh, not the frozen that is found everywhere. The staff were friendly and attentive. They treated us like friends. We travel the state and always try to eat and support the local businesses. The restroom was clean and that says a lot about the establishment. We will stop in again when we are in the area. ”
“ The Open sign was off, so we used what was in hindsight, the side door. Grand hand gestures welcomed us in. The menu is limited bc the cook is a curmudgeon. The food, very traditional breakfast items, was well prepared. We were the second group in the dining room. There are no strangers in Fayetteville, TX ! We had so much fun talking about life on the city square, the “limited menu & why”, heck, life in general on the town square. The Knick knack decorations are charming. We will go out of our way to visit this place again, & hope the curmudgeon is working that day. He really does what he does well ! ”

“ Decent small town cafe. Burgers were good, bread could have been fresher but the paddies were tasty and the veggies were fresh. Onion rings were better than average hand breaded not frozen which is always a plus. ”
